Beat the Heat
In this unit middle school students become scientists who are investigating into what climate change is, what causes it and it's implications to society and the environment. The students work towards community awareness of the issues.
Density: Got Gas?
In this unit middle school students investigate into the density of different liquids, solids and gases. The students use this knowledge to construct hot air balloons which they will display for the class.
Forensics: Got a clue?
In this unit middle school students become forensic investigators. Using math and science, the student learn how forensics work and then put that knowledge to the test by solving a simulated classroom crime.
