Beetle Infestation: This is a seventh grade lesson that can be used during a unit on insects or as a start off point into environmental issues. This is an inquiry based lesson where students inquire and investigate into tree beetles and their effects on forests.

How Viruses Travel: This lesson plan can be used while studying viruses in middle school science. This lesson looks at how viruses travel by experimenting using jars filled with four and a few that have baking soda. The students will gather information based on who is ‘infected’ in the class to discover who the original carriers are.
