Understanding Volcanoes: This is a hands on lesson where students create volcano models to help them better understand the different types of volcanoes. The lesson plan includes discussion questions and a short writing assignment.

How Viruses Travel: This lesson plan can be used while studying viruses in middle school science. This lesson looks at how viruses travel by experimenting using jars filled with four and a few that have baking soda. NEA's Maintaining Discipline: This site provides tips for maintaining discipline in the classroom. The site provides different tips for the beginning of year, a few months into the year as well as things to do through out the entire year to maintain discipline for a well managed class. This is a great resource for teachers of any grade level but it is especially valuable for elementary grade levels.
The Ultimate Organized Classroom: This is a guide for creating a classroom that is highly organized for smooth management of all aspects of school life. The article is found on the Teacher-vision website which allows for viewing of 5 items on their website but then requires a paid subscription for any further viewing. The article is good for teachers of any grade level.
